Welcome to the Computational Mechanics & Materials Laboratory (CMML) at Incheon National University.
We integrate our knowledge of solid mechanics, material science, multiscale/multiphysics modeling,
and experimentation to improve the understanding of the mechanical or physical behaviors of materials.
With such understandings, we aim to gain deeper insight into the nonlinear behaviors of materials and structures,
leading to the design of novel materials with exceptional properties, or to improvement of mechanical system’s service life.
The CMML focuses on advancement in structural and functional materials for additive manufacturing, nuclear safety,
extreme environment monitoring, and lightweight structure.
